The 14th National Conference and Technology Exhibition on Indian Medical Devices & Plastics Disposables / Implants Industry was held at Ahmedabad Management Association, Ahmedabad, on March 17-18, 2017.
The programme focused on medical polymers and processing, medical textile and other materials, device manufacturing, quality assurance and certification, regulations, market trends and analysis, technology, research and developments, packaging and sterilization.
Programme Highlights
- The inaugural session included Dr. H. G. Koshia, Dr. Jitendar Kumar Sharma, Shri Rajiv Nath, Dr. Ravi Kant Sharma, Dr. Arvind Kukrety, Shri Kishore Khanna and conference convenor Mr. D. L. Pandya.
- A regulatory panel discussion covered current status and strategy, with participation from AMTZ, AiMeD, CDSCO, SCTIMST, NABCB and industry representatives.
- Further sessions addressed materials, manufacturing, market development, quality systems and regulatory themes relevant to the Indian medical device sector.
