FOUNDED in
1978, the National Bio-Medical Engineering Society is
carrying out various activities for the development, growth
and popularity in the interdisciplinary areas of Medicine,
Engineering and Bio-Medical Engineering.

These
include efforts to improve education in Bio-Medical
Engineering, Exchange and dissipation of technical
information, organising meetings, work-shops, seminars etc.
The Society
has created a very effective platform for bringing two
important professions, Medicine and Engineering, together. |

The Medical Disposables Manufacturer’s Association
established in 1990. With the origin of this Industry in
India about 30 years back, this Industry has grown many fold
mostly in small scale sector. |
Our members contribute approximately 60% of country’s production
and requirements of Medical Disposable Products like Intravenous
Infusion (I.V.) Sets.
Our main
objective is to contribute to the development and the growth of
the interdisciplinary area of medical devices industries in all
aspects and specialties.
The major activity of the
Association include:

Exchange of information regarding changing Govt. regulations.

Undertaking Common interest development programs.

Training Man-Power (Technical, Non-Technical).

Encouragement is given to get accreditation with International
Quality Testing Agencies.

Assistance and guidance for Quality Certification (ISO, CE,
GMP)

Training programs for Skill Development, Management and
Marketing

Organization of Meeting, Seminars, Symposia, Exhibitions and
Demonstrations.

Innovations from member unit and individuals are encouraged.

Representation to Govt. authorities like FDA, Excise, VAT.
