Dr. A. Ramkishan has completed his B. Pharm and M. Pharm (Pharmacology) from Kakatiya University, Warangal (AP) and Ph. D. from L.M. Colege of Pharmacy, Gujarat University, Ahmedabad and at present he is the Officer in charge, Assistant Drugs Controller (India) of Central Drugs Standard Control Organization, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare at Ahmedabad, having 2 years of experience in teaching and 9 years of experience in regulator affairs.

He has published 5 research papers and 2 books in Pharmacy (Pharmacy Pathfinder (Part I), First Edition 1999, Second Edition 2002, Third Edition 2008, Pharmacy Pathfinder (Part II), First Edition 2005). He has conferred with Best Drugs Inspector Award 2005 by All India Drugs Control Officers Confederation (AIDCOC), Mumbai and Best Pharmacists Award - 2007 by IPGA - AP branch. He has participated WHO-GMP workshop conducted by USFDA at Washington DC-USA (May-2007). He has patent approval for his Ph. D. work from Govt. of India. Patent Office, Mumbai. He is the first Doctorate in pharmacology from entire CDSCO department while in service. He is also involved with various Scientific Committees like IP Commission, Scientific Committee of IPCA and editorial board member in Indian journal of Pharmacology.
